So my mom just gave me this totally awesome new book for Christmas and the only way to describe it BRILLIANT The book is about this guy Jake that just graduated from collage going to work in this little itty bitty town as a potter. He took over the shop from the previous owner who is now dead. The book is about people comeing and telling him about this wonderful man, Issac. Issac was a very religious man and it is one of those books that makes you look at life with a new eye and just love everything and everyone around you. It also makes me want to take pottery classes :D. So if and when i get some spare time i think that is something i would really like to do. I did a little when i was much younger and dont really know why i ever stopped... lol yes i do it was pottery or painting and though i loved doing pottery it never really brought me the satisfaction of the brush. Anyhow, it is truely a good read for anyone and if you read this blog i would highly suggest it :D

The Anticipation Builds
Okay so first off this is going to be geaky but i totally have mixed feelings about tomorrow for one reason alone. It is going to be the final season... the final episode with my all time favorite... my doctor David Tennant. I can not even begin to express how much i am going to miss him. he has been wonderful and fabulous and just down right amazing playing the doctor. I don't know how much i will like the next guy(matt freaking creeper smith)...or if i like him at all as it stands right now i am trying my best not to be biased against him but i will have to form a better opinion (hopefully) of him when the new season will start back up.
This is a spoiler for any one who cares remotely about Dr Who. so stop reading now. I would almost rather not watch the episode- it will be to hard to watch the doctor die again, watching Christopher die was horrid.... i seriously almost stopped watching the show convinced that i would never like David Tennant (ha ha funny huh) however the first part of this freaking episode was like the biggest cliff hanger ever! THE FREAKING TIME LORDS ARE COMING BACK. I do not know how i could NOT watch that episode.... dumb dumb dumb which is what leads me to my biggest delema. am i excited for the episode or dreading it.... i dont thnk i will know till i am done watching the episode. Should you be reading this and scratching your head thinking to your self i have to know what she is talking about then i would be more than glad to tell you.... but i don't think you will be, because honestly i don't think anyone reads my blog.... ha ha oh well its fun writing in it anyhow.
Okay i am done ranting.... and being crazy... it think

San Fran Baby!
For those of you that do not know i am in the process of planning an awesome trip at the end of January to San Francisco with my roommates Kelly and Christina. (.... yes that is right Phil is not going to be coming much to his dismay but it was planned as a girls weekend so he and I will have to go there again some time soon :P) We are going because the 2 of them have not seen Wicked and really more than anything we really just want too! I am really excited because i have not really been on a vacation sense my Honeymoon which was great and i loved it (sea world rocks!) however I was really stressed due to my job (I did not know if i would still have a job within a few weeks of our return due to... ugg yea...) And besides that i will get to let loose and just have fun! We got together at Kellie's and reviewed what our budget would be and a few of the places we are going to try to go to and really everything. We really didn't get much done but it was just fun to get started and really realize that this is going to be happening. We are totally catching a lucky break with the airfare. Kellie's brother in law works for the airline so he is getting us buddy passes for a round trip to San Fran for only $80 bucks! that in itself is enought to want to go :D Everything else is going to be pretty pricy but we figure with the 3 of us we can split costs and help keep the bills down. Now i just have to start counting out the pennies so that i can actually afford it! ha ha wish me luck

Christmas 2009!
I am sick and its horrid! I don't know why but every single year at this time i get sick... like bad sick. i guess i should have expected it but every year i secretly hope that maybe the sick bug will pass me over.... oh well cant win them all!
Christmas was awesome this year if by awesome you mean busy! lol It was a crazy couple of days but it was fun and i enjoyed all of it! Christmas Eve morning i got my nails done (wahoo Jessica rocks!) I visited Janna my co worker who was a brat and insisted that i stayed with her till she was done at work (1 o'clock at this point) and then i got a call from my mom saying that she needed me to get a birthday present for my cousin Randy (no one gave her presents back on her birthday in August so Christmas Eve along with all the other birthdays in December we celebrated hers as well) and i figured i could grab 1 or 2 more little things for my Mom and Phil while i was there.... WRONG i totally knew that people did a lot of last min shopping but i never knew the intensity of this till i went to Jordan Landing on Christmas Eve. HOLY CRAP it was INSANE! needless to say i forgot getting the other presents for my Mom and Phil and focused specifically on just Randi--- lol and that was hard enough! i finally figured that it would just be easiest to get a parking spot clear out in BFE and walk everywhere and i am glad i did i wouldn't have gotten out of there till midnight! lol anyhow after that me and Phil opened presents at our house due tot he fact that we were really not going to get any other alone time together till the day AFTER Christmas. and at this point I was done with waiting.
I was very proud with the way i wrapped Phil's presents- it was awesome! for his birthday he was totally able to guess every single freaking thing i got him so for Christmas i made sure he would never guess. I got him a couple Lego sets (he/we are enjoying legos right now. we want to have a ton when we have kids so we have started collecting them now :D ) well i opened the box and wrapped each little baggie in toilet paper so when you shake the box you could not tell what it was---- ha ha ha it was epic! when he opened it up he was like what the crap! ha ha.... oh awesome! i changed the way i wrapped all the presents but the legos were the best by FAR!
We then jumped into the car and headed over to my Grandma Goldie's (we were an hour late at this point) and much to my dismay we had missed the Christmas story and part of the 12 days of Christmas ( my family has this crazy awesome tradition that every year at Christmas we have these giant cards that have each gift for the 12 days of Christmas and we break up into groups and sing the song. its a lot of fun and Christmas would not be the same without it :D ) but we did get there just in time and didn't miss the whole thing! Then we did white elephant- which was hilarious this year someone brought a pair of slippers that were made out of super plus pads :P ha ha it was hilarious! anyhow i ended up with 12 different colored large shirts and phil wound up with some chocolate. not a bad year, ha ha at least we didn't get the pad slippers :D
Then we headed over to my Nana's, ate and played Christmas bingo- which was very fun TOTALLY crazy the kids got put at one end and the parents at the other so it was CHAOS at the kid side of the table. it all worked out in the end ha ha i ended up with a big white teddy bear and a few other things.
After Nana's we went back to my parents house and slept on the most uncomfortable bed i have slept on in quite a while. but it was worth it the next morning to be right there when the rest of my family was opening presents. My mom gave me a huge tub of scrap booking stuff which Phil was not very happy about but i was i cant wait till i am feeling better so i can do all sorts of fun stuff :D
We spent Christmas day with Phil's family and i swear watched movies for forever! lol we went to see Avatar (awesome btw) then we watched Harry Potter, Myth Busters, and Paul Blart Mall Cop. it was crazy but nice to spend time with Phil's family :D
All in all it was a great Christmas- now if i can just be not sick!
